Elizabeth Bandy, Director of Research & Learning
Elizabeth Bandy, Ph.D., joined the staff of See Change, Inc. as Director of Research and Learning in 2012, bringing with her more than ten years of experience with mixed-methods research and teaching in Communication, specializing in youth. She serves on the Steering Committee for the CAISE Media Initiative and the Advisory Board of the Entertainment Industry Councils Science, Engineering and Technology project.
Prior to joining See Change, Elizabeth conducted research and evaluation projects related to science, technology and digital media education for Rockman et al. Elizabeth has conducted evaluations of KQEDs QUEST multi-media science and nature series, the Advanced Digital Pathways media technology-training program at the Bay Area Video Coalition, Youth Radios Do It! STEM reporting and application development, and A Wide Web of Women (WWW.2), an initiative that encourages girls and young women to pursue technology careers. When her schedule permits, she teaches classes in media and society and media research methods at San Francisco State University and the University of San Francisco.
